Welcome to my Wasteland Lore Differentiator Site!

This site was created to help people learn about the history and lore about Post-Apocalyptic frachises in movies and video games! Check out the links below to start your journey through the wastelands of the world.

The Wasteland(s)

To start off, check out my page on the Mad Max series! Not many people know that many video games and movies take a lot of inspiration from George Miller’s films!

Afterwards, feel free to check out the Fallout game franchise, which takes place in a futuristic 1950s wasteland!

Finally, take a look at how Russian’s handle the end of the world with Metro: 2033, a game based on a popular novel of the same name!

A little bit about me…

I am a huge fan of the post-apocalyptic genre in movies, television, and video games. I’m not too big on zombies, but I love seeing settings where humans must reclaim what was there’s prior to a great war of some sort. Fighting off dangerous, mutated creatures, crazed gangs, or just irradiated nature is self is just so interesting to me! When it comes to video games, my playstyle is to hoard resources and talk my way out of situations. I enjoy the designs of salvaged armor or weapons, and the crazed personalities of wastelanders who are a little irradiated and baked in the sun for a while. I hope to one day work for a game studio or film studio that creates a product related the genre. If you’re looking for a recommendation on games or movies, here’s a short list of my personal favorites (aside from the ones talked on the site of course):
